This is how I see it.. They have no respect for our children's well being. Recently parents were notified of a threat that a student received (school received notification of the threat in the morning, and didn't even notify teachers to be on the lookout until after 1pm). School took it as a joke... Lied about it to parents, and took no action to protect our children. This is the 4th life threatening event the school has received in the last 3 years, and, like the others, was blown off by the school as a joke or non serious matter. Too bad the law requires that kids attend school... Because I'm very concerned about sending my kids to a school where child endangerment is a laughing matter. A big F YOU to this school and all officials that are SUPPOSEDLY keeping our children safe. The school announced publicly that a student received a "coded" message that, once deciphered, communicated that a threat to hurt people would commence if certain conditions weren't met. I now have (from the victims family) screenshots of the actual messages... Which were NOT encoded, and were quite graphic. Yet... Parents weren't notified, school was not locked down. No action was immediately taken. Lives were put at risk, and this school needs to be shut down if they can't get somebody more responsible than Tara Paul to run it. When my wife calls to get on the agenda for the school board meeting... And they refuse to allow it because they know that they're in the wrong and don't want to be called out on it, you know something is wrong! If your concerned about your children's safety... PLEASE DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO GET A REAL SUPERINTENDENT AND A REAL SECURITY GUARD IN THERE! GET TARA PAUL AND THE ESTHERVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT OUT!! They are only hiding things from you and lieing to you and putting your child's safety at risk. I have the proof that they lied about the messages they received, and I'm on the brink of releasing these messages publicly if we don't get some cooperation from the school board. This is my view and opinion on what happened.
